[ Prep Time: 1 min | Cooking Time: 10 min | Serving: 2 ]

Hong Kong style milk tea is a tea drink made from black tea and milk. It is a highly caffeinated, wonderfully smooth hot beverage enjoyed in bakeries, cafes and restaurants across Hong Kong!

  • 20 g Ceylon Black Tea

  • 1½ Tbsp White Sugar

  • 500 mL Water

  • 200 mL Evaporated Milk

1. In a pot, add Ceylon black tea (20 g) and water (500 mL). Simmer over medium heat for 10 min.

2. Remove the tea bags, add white sugar (1½ tbsp). Stir until the sugar has dissolved completely.

3. Add evaporated milk (200 mL) and mix well to serve.

  • White sugar could be replaced by condensed milk.
