Salted Eggs

Soaking duck eggs in brine is the easiest way to make salted duck egg at home. These are very delicious and super versatile ingredients in Chinese cooking!


  • 10 pcs Duck Eggs

  • 320 g Salt

  • 800 mL Water



1. Rinse and clean duck eggs (10 pcs).

2. Place the duck eggs in a glass container.

3. Add salt (320 g) and water (800 mL) to fully cover the duck eggs.

4. Soak at least 4 weeks.

5. To cook the salted duck eggs, place them in a pot with cold water, cover and boil over medium heat for 20 min.
