Steamed minced pork with preserved vegetables often served with steamed rice. It’s a classic Cantonese comfort dish!
Ingredients
500 g Minced Pork
40 g Sweet Mustard Greens
5 g Minced Garlic
¼ Tsp Chicken Powder
2 Tsp Corn Starch
½ Tsp Light Soy Sauce
¼ Tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tsp Oil
1 Tbsp Water
½ Tsp White Sugar
½ Tsp Salt
Method
1. Soak sweet mustard greens (40 g) for 15 min, drain and cut into paste.
2. Mix minced pork (500 g) with chicken powder (¼ tsp), corn starch (2 tsp), light soy sauce (½ tsp), minced garlic (5 g), sesame oil (¼ tsp), oil (1 tsp), white sugar (½ tsp) and salt (½ tsp).
3. Add water (1 tbsp) and chopped sweet mustard greens and mix well.
4. Place the patty on a plate.
5. Cover and steam over high heat for 20 minutes to serve.
