Bandit Wings

[ Prep Time: 2 hr | Cooking Time: 20 min | Serving: 4 ]

Bandit chicken wings are very tasty and easy to make. Cumin is the main spice used in this dish to bring out its signature flavour and smell. It is a great side dish and finger food at parties!


  • 15 Pcs Chicken Wings

  • 1 Tsp Black Sesame



  • 2 Tbsp Cooking Wine

  • 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce

  • 2 Tsp Ground Cumin

  • 2 Tsp Five Spice Powder

  • 2 Tsp Chicken Powder

  • 2 Tsp Sesame Oil

  • 1 Tsp White Sugar

  • 1 Tsp White Pepper Powder



1. Preheat oven to 200 °C.

2. Add light soy sauce (2 tbsp), cooking wine (2 tbsp), ground cumin (2 tsp), five-spice powder (2 tsp), chicken powder (2 tsp), white pepper powder (1 tsp), sesame oil (2 tsp) and white sugar (1 tsp) to the chicken wings (15 pcs).

3. Mix well, cover it with cling film and marinate at least 2 hr (Overnight for better result).

4. Toast black sesame seeds over medium heat, set aside.

5. Place the chicken wings on a baking tray, sprinkle black sesame seeds on top and bake for 20 min at 200 °C.



  • Instead of baking the chicken wings in the oven, pan fry over medium heat until cooked.
