Chicken Wings In Oyster Sauce

[ Prep Time: 5 min | Cooking Time: 20 min | Serving: 3 ]

This incredibly simple braised chicken wings in oyster sauce recipe will be the new family favourite! This dish is saucy and fragrant, and best served with steamed rice.


  • 500 g Chicken Wings

  • 3 Garlic Cloves


Sauce Mix

  • 2½ Tbsp Oyster Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp White Sugar

  • 200 mL Water

  • ¼ Tsp White Pepper

  • ¼ Tsp Dark Soy Sauce



1. Prepare the sauce mix with water (200 mL), oyster sauce (2½ tbsp), white sugar (1 tbsp), white pepper (¼ tsp) and dark soy sauce (¼ tsp).

2. Blanch chicken wings (500 g) over medium heat for 5 min.

3. Render the fat out of chicken wings over medium heat on a non-stick pan then add garlic cloves (3 pcs) and stir fry until fragrant.

4. Add sauce mix and simmer over medium-high heat for 10 min or until the sauce has thickened.
