Fire chicken with cheese also known as cheese buldak in Korea. It is a quick and easy one-pan Korean recipe featuring juicy chicken thighs in a spicy hot pepper sauce with melted mozzarella cheese!
600 g Boneless Chicken Thighs
250 g Mozzarella Cheese
5 Garlic Cloves
3 Tbsp Hot Pepper Paste
2 Tbsp Hot Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
60 g Rice Syrup
½ Tsp Ground Black Pepper
1. Preheat oven to 200 °C.
2. Cut the boneless chicken thighs (600 g) into cubes.
3. Marinade the chicken thighs with minced garlic (5 cloves), hot pepper flakes (2 tbsp), ground black pepper (½ tsp), light soy sauce (1 tbsp), hot pepper paste (3 tbsp) and rice syrup (60 g).
4. Stir fry the chicken over medium heat for about 8 min until the sauce has thickened.
5. Add mozzarella cheese (250 g), oven bake for 10 min at 200 °C.
